A bit longer than usual, but good reading. Though the most interesting thing for me was that the pitch will be "ripped up" and re-laid in the close season. I thought the pitch laid last close season was there forever, apart from repairs.

ST: There’s some really positive talks on. I haven’t got an update this time, but there’s been some positive back and forward between the club and Richie’s representatives.

I suspect the grass will need to be re-seeded, which could involve taking the existing grass out around the artificial grass bits. There could also be some need to level out potholes or divots or whatnot
