Love that kit. Genuine question, is there a reason why clubs (orient) can’t play in kits like this rather than the generic sh1te we currently play in.

It is a good kit though and in answer to Bera's question, I don't think there's any reason we couldn't have a kit like that rather than the off the peg crap most clubs usually get. Puma have their logo on it (albeit discreetly) so presumably they had the wherewithal to be involved in designing it and producing it. Maybe they charge clubs more to come up with more individual designs for regular season shirts?

If they were at all serious about this they would sell them at 1918 prices.

Feels a bit odd the club are making money off of the Somme. Only scanned the article so maybe they are donating the profits to a veterans charity?

If they played in kits like that then they wouldn’t be able to raise additional revenue by selling them as “one offs”.

It seems very much as if this is not a charitable endeavour, based on the responses I’ve seen online

Why would it be charitable endeavour, it was Clapton Orient who signed up to fight & not some associated charity

They’ve missed the Bravo logo off, the clowns.

Not for me at £75 a shirt. But I wish the club well with this venture.

It is a nice shirt and so dignified , great they have large sizes but very expensive. I can well afford one but I cannot justify paying out that kind of money in my own mind. If it was say £40 it would be a reasonable deal.

But then the investors would be £35,000 down. That’s a lot of money, even to multi millionaires.
