Lindsey and Ada worked right through the "clown's" era. Both not being paid at the end either.
True Orient people in every sense of the words. Well deserved award in deed.

I'll never forget it and in fact I've still got the e'mail that I sent to Lindsey late on a Friday night and shortly after the takeover in 2017. I was keen to show moral support for Nigel, Kent and the club by buying a season ticket as soon as they came available. I sent an e'mail to Lindsay's personal club address asking for a specific seat, I was expecting a response some time the following week. Low and behold, a few minutes later at 22.07pm that Friday night, I received a response from Lindsay, confirming it was all sorted!!

She certainly continues to show unbelievable dedication to the club and she went a long way to holding thing's together during the Beccheti's shambolic reign, lets hope she deservedly wins the award.

I also sent her an email when the takeover was announced. Without the likes of her and Ada we would have been knackered.
Lindsey also drove our legal documents to the National league AGM in Birmingham so they arrived just before the deadline for the new season. As always above and beyond a club legend.

Thats bad form Biggsy. You just let your personal experience osbscure the thousands of bits of good work that she's done for others in the name of this club. If I was her reading this post then I know what would happen to your application for next season. Luckily she's a better person than me.

Get a grip on reality Biggsy. At worst it was an administrative mis-understanding/error. Nobody died and your case may have been one of a handful amongst 4000+. Not even a reason to wish someone loses. Last I'm saying on the subject.

Seems like an outstanding club servant. We all have ticketing problems occasionally, which I doubt is down to her. The Ticketmaster system seems better than previous ones at least.

Always good to see a "say it to my face" surface once in a while.

Well this got weird

This is not the first time " BigsyMalone" has been abusive & provocative on this Board. Judging by his Nom de Plume- a play on the name of a children's film Bugsy Malone, plus the use of Bigsy ( which suggests a desire to be "big" rather than an actuality ). I think his time would be better served by swatting for his 11 plus rather than abusing on this Board.

Good god, you pass on a deserved compliment and you end up with comments like this plus further fallout thereafter!! It really makes you wonder what makes the person behind this BiggsyMalone name tick and why he/she (allegedly) supports the club. I personally am loving the upward curve the club is on and it is doubtless that people like Lindsey and her family are a large part of the reason behind the progress. And by the way, looking at how this BiggsMalone's comment is written above, I'd love to see how easy it was to understand the e'mail in question!!

And finally, I'm sure there would be a queue of people willing to join in to meet this BiggsyMalone character on Saturday at 14.50 to check out 'the colour of his/her eyes'. Lets be honest though, I don't suppose it would be a particularly invigorating experience and by the time you had it out, gone through the turnstiles, bought a program and taken your seat, you'd have missed the kick off!!

The ticket purchasing process has always been a shambles.

Lindsey is great, tho. I hope the club are rewarding her properly, not just with these award nomination things.
