How long should the club leave it before finding a manager?
I feel Ross is out of his depth!

Agreed. I thought that last week when they were taking the ball to the corner with ten minutes to go, playing against nine men.
Ridiculous.

Why do you bother? Really? So predictably stupid that it's not even funny. Please find something useful to do with your life, if it's not too late.

I know it's only the second game of the season but it's complete no brainer unless we actually want to struggle this season . A new Head Coach is needed now . We've gone through too much these last few season's to let things slide backwards now .

2 games - 1 decent result - 1 poor result. Like some others I have my doubts that Embleton is the man for the job BUT he has to be given a chance. 10 -12 games and we will have a clearer idea.

Today is an absolutely atrocious result in anyone’s book.

If we were to go on a 4-6 game winless steak that'd be enough for T&T to act I think.

I know this is a WUM thread but the whole interim thing will be reviewed by it's very definition, just a question of how soon.

A sentiment fuelled 1-0 home win against 9 man Cheltenham is a decent result?

Is the OP for real?

Top half of table after promotion last season.
1 defeat this season & want manager sacked?

If Orient made changes now, then who would want to come to a club that sacks it's manager if they lose a single game?

Any win is a decent result! On top of that the team played pretty well against Cheltenham. Can’t comment on today’s performance ( I’m sure you’ll be more than capable of doing that) but clearly a poor result. My view is that it would be way too soon to take action now based on our two opening games - do you disagree with that?

After the manor of the defeat today against a team everybody fancies for relegation , I'm not so sure about that.

Some quality hissy fits tonight. Even teams tipped for relegation win from time to time.

Yes, very poor result. Let's see how the first month at least goes though before we start crying like babies because we're not getting our own way.

The club won't overreact based on one loss but maybe after this we will see them decide to use the remaining budget on some upgrades.

I didn’t see the opening game so can’t complain moment on the performance.

I’m not calling for a replacement now. But I suspect one will be needed at some point. I’d like to think contingency plans have been underway already, just in case.

That's just the thing, we don't actually have a manager . We only have an interim caretaker who won't be sacked .

Upgrades are needed.

But maybe funds are being held back for a new manager? T&T will be wiser after what happened with Davis.

My thoughts are along the same lines as you both that eventually we will need a replacement (I was thinking they might do that in October or November) and that there will be contingency plans. Managers will be sacked in the first couple of months so potentially better options will become available as time goes by (in the same way Edinburgh was recently available after we sacked Davis)

Much tougher games coming up than Macclesfield so they better . I don't care about promotion this season but I just want us to be safe so this needs to be sorted ASAP.

According to Teague it's down to Ling regarding what the budget is used for and when. So I'd hope he can see that we need to use some of it now.
