Back to normal. Poor passing, flat attacking and shocking defending and too much hoof ball.

Embleton may or may not be out of his depth. What is a fact though is that despite it being obvious to anyone with half a brain cell, we’ve failed to sign a decent defensive midfielder ever since Travis and Teague took over.

And that what's frustrating. We've had long enough to sign such a player.

A loan signing who turned us down permanently for ebbsfleet. It can’t be beyond the wit of man to get someone in permanently.

For goodness sake ,ok we lost, but to gave a go at the team after just two games is ridiculous.

Maybe Simon Dawson would fancy a return to E10 to get away from Bury. Also is there any more rumours regarding us getting Anthony Grant . These are the type of central midfielders we've been crying out for now for ages. If we had one of these then maybe that Macclesfield player wouldn't have been able to run 40 yards unchallenged to score.

According to the ''Happy clappers'' on this forum, we do not have need of a ''decent defensive midfielder''
Well I beg to differ and I also think that we would be better off switching to a back four with an extra player in the midfield.

Sounds here like Stephen Dawson has too many injury problems and best days behind him...... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stephen_Dawson
''Despite Scunthorpe United offered a new contract to him,[158] Dawson announced on 16 May 2017 that he was returning to Bury on a free transfer, signing a three–year contract. Bury gave him back his old number 8 shirt.
At the start of the 2017–18 season, Dawson was given the captaincy and led the team in the opening game of the season, a 1–0 win over Walsall. In a 1–0 loss against Sunderland in the first round of the League Cup, he tore a knee cartilage and was afterwards declared unfit to play for five months. Dawson has continued to suffer with injury problems and has played in only seven of Bury's 43 matches to date in 2018–19.''

That's a shame because he was a good player. Anyway , we need somebody of his ilk.
