I guess you have to look out for your own interests and it's not like there's training grounds lying around willy nilly but feels a bit shithouse for Wycombe to effectively take advantage like this.

I wonder what training facilities the Reading players will be using now . I can imagine a school's sports field .

Wonder how much they got it for? News describes it as a £50m state of the art facility. Surely Wycombe don't have anything like that available?

This happened twice with Euxton in Lancashire built by Bolton, sold to Wigan when money trouble hit, then sold to Preston North End when money problems hit Wigan too.

Have seen £22m being quoted. Still a huge amount for them, I'd have thought.

Wycombe have said the money will help Readings fight for existence but every interested party who were in to possibly buy the club has now pulled out - Reading are being asset stripped.

They’ve got a couple of decent forwards that we should be enquiring about

Heard from a Cambridge pal of mine that the training ground has been the major stumbling block to the club's sale. Evidently the running costs are way out of Readings ability to pay for it - so only god knows what Wycombe are doing with it. Reading now to be sold imminently.
