You moan about our 9000 stadium, but applaud them for having a smaller stadium.Monkey Boy wrote: ↑Mon Feb 19, 2024 3:20 pmSo what at least there being positive.Proposition Joe wrote: ↑Mon Feb 19, 2024 3:19 pmWith their 6-8000 capacity stadium?Monkey Boy wrote: ↑Mon Feb 19, 2024 3:16 pm Well that says it all, it can be achieved and I’m willing to be that in a few years there be above us like Brighton and Brentford are
Not a lot of fun around there though, is there? The Reverend wrote: ↑Mon Feb 19, 2024 3:30 pm Funnily enough I thought that Barnet’s stadium was one of the better ones in the conference during our stint down there.
I would imagine it could be expanded if they get success .Proposition Joe wrote: ↑Mon Feb 19, 2024 3:19 pmWith their 6-8000 capacity stadium?Monkey Boy wrote: ↑Mon Feb 19, 2024 3:16 pm Well that says it all, it can be achieved and I’m willing to be that in a few years there be above us like Brighton and Brentford are
You obviously have the money to build the 17k stadium we want...why dont you pay for it?Monkey Boy wrote: ↑Mon Feb 19, 2024 3:16 pm Well that says it all, it can be achieved and I’m willing to bet that in a few years there be above us like Brighton and Brentford are
Kleanthous has form for playing silly buggers. That's how they ended up in Harrow in the first place.Mistadobalina wrote: ↑Mon Feb 19, 2024 3:52 pm Key point here

Fair play to the owner but that's a hell of an ask for someone to sink that much cash in something they'll never get a return on. And am cynical enough to question whether that's the no stings attached statement it sounds like.

They are. They also got into the Premier League without having the new stadium.OyinbO wrote: ↑Tue Feb 20, 2024 12:58 pmthey're also building a new stadiumBiggsyMalone wrote: ↑Tue Feb 20, 2024 12:42 pm Orient need to stop being obsessed with Brentford and follow Luton’s example
but - we don't know if they can stay there without a new one. And they got there in the full knowledge that a new one was coming - making it much easier to attract investment. The Brentford v Luton difference is really only one of timing, and quite a narrow one at that. That's not to say it mightn't make a big difference in the end.BiggsyMalone wrote: ↑Tue Feb 20, 2024 1:26 pmThey are.
