Re: Dan Agyei
Yes, Just bring him on as a second half substitute and graddually bring him back up to speed . He's already proven how important he is to us so we don't want him to get injured again .

Re: Dan Agyei
We weren't really rushing him back per se.....he was getting 20 minutes, then 60 for a good 7 games and looked ok. The injury he has is a different one to the one he got originally.

We absolutely did rush him back (out of necessity, I guess).Loyal_Supporter wrote: ↑Sun Feb 18, 2024 10:02 amWe weren't really rushing him back per se.....he was getting 20 minutes, then 60 for a good 7 games and looked ok. The injury he has is a different one to the one he got originally.

Re: Dan Agyei
I don’t think we rushed him back, he was well managed by the medical team and RW, who has a proven record of not rushing players back, gently easing them back in, as in the case of Dan Happe, and Paul Smith in the past.

Re: Dan Agyei
Rush back is probably the wrong phrase. I thought he was overused over the Xmas period when Ruel was injured.

Re: Dan Agyei
He only played a full 90 minutes once: at Reading away, after which he limped off holding his hamstring.Hoover Attack wrote: ↑Sun Feb 18, 2024 12:47 pm Rush back is probably the wrong phrase. I thought he was overused over the Xmas period when Ruel was injured.

Yeah, agreed. I think that's the perfect way to describe it. Played him too long at Reading too...Hoover Attack wrote: ↑Sun Feb 18, 2024 12:47 pm Rush back is probably the wrong phrase. I thought he was overused over the Xmas period when Ruel was injured.

Re: Dan Agyei
Seems silly to rush him back even for one or two games, got a feeling he might actually be okay even now but with nothin to play for no point risking him or over playing that he is fit

Re: Dan Agyei
If play offs were a possibility - which they won’t be without a senior striker - then it would be worth it. But otherwise, agreed, no.

Re: Dan Agyei
After seeing what happened with Michael Olise the other week, with nothing to play for there's absolutely no point playing him unnecessarily. Look after him, get a full preseason and he'll monster League One next time out.
