Found this online, worth a read - looks back on our struggles and highlights our run of good form pretty well.

It’s just a list of our recent results. I don’t get it.

Didn't want to be mean but I thought the same. "YOU WON'T BELIEVE HOW THEY TURNED IT AROUND!!!" Er, Forde went wide in the second half v Bolton, Agyei was fit and...that's about as far as any analysis goes.

And we started keeping clean sheets, which helped.

Mind you it was worth looking at that Tom James pass again, Moncur seems to have got some of his Mojo back too good to see.

Well written though, which makes a nice change for these kind of local/fan journalism opinion pieces.

Not really. We were on a terrible run of form and were in danger of slipping into the relegation dogfight. I and others just voiced that if the slump continued then I didn’t think that the board would just sit back and watch last season’s hard work go to waste if Wellens couldn’t turn it around. I’m very happy that he seems to have done just that. Long may it continue.

Yes really.
Lots of people were talking about a change. Also, lots of people are idiots.

Quite right, it's a bit silly to sit back and say, 'i told you how good our manager is' because the team is now doing well. Managers can sometimes go on long runs of success and also long runs of bad results. Indeed some managers are one minute the talk of the town, the next minute they've disappeared into obscurity. Considering some of the disasters we've had over the last 5 or 6 years I'm quite satisfied that we have Wellens as our manager but I don't think, like some do on here, that the sun shines out of his a-se.

I'm not just sitting back now and telling you how good our manager is, I've been doing so all season. A few defeats on the bounce doesn't make someone a bad manager.
Everything else you've said about managers is exactly what's wrong with football clubs these days.

Good for you that you've been saying so all season. And a few wins on the bounce doesn't make anyone a good manager either. Anyway, who said that YOU was 'sitting back'. I was answering L supporter's post.

Of course a few wins don't make someone a good manager.
2 years of wins does, though.

I only said that to counter your 'few defeats' remark.
Anyway, this wasn't meant as a personal Hoover attack. But you've made it sound like it is. Like I said I was answering L supporter's post.
