Brynn. 6.5. The square root of f all to do.
James. 8. Joint MOM. Always in the right place at the right time. A couple of good blocks. Passing was excellent.
Beccles. 6.5. Started off with a mistake or two then realised Carlisle were awful and slept through the rest of the match.
Happe. 7. Nothing much to do aside from head the ball away.
Galbraith. 7.5. Made the position his own. Threatening going forward and comfortable with the dirty work.
Brown. 7.5. Great game and was going to get joint MOM until a stupid handball. Seems to get better every week. Good range of passing, strong in the air, loves a tackle.
Moncor. 7.5. Started off slow and his ar*se can block out the sun but his touch was sublime as usual, nice pass for one of our goals. Drove us forward.
El Miz. 7.5. Didn’t need to get out of second gear. Usual performance full of industry and endeavour.
Archibald. 7. Did great for Ruels goal. Usual up and down the pitch effort.
Forde. 8. Joint MOM. Great strike for the first. Simple header for the second. Confidence sky high.
Ruel. 6.5. Gets 2 for the goal.

Subs. Pigott. 6. A couple of shocking efforts. Others. 6.5.

Wellens. 7. We did what we had to do. We will miss Dan Agyei with some tough games coming up.

Carlisle. 5. Offered nothing and are going down.

Ref. 6.

Is Armstrong the same bloke people on here were saying we should have signed? He was absolute dog sh*t and has a crap beard.

Can’t argue with those ratings. Piggot deserves a 3 for tripping himself up instead of scoring that chance at the end.

Shaq Forde is turning into quite a player.

Agree with all apart from Pigott as the Rev said.

Pretty solid performance against a dog sh*t side. Moncs looked up for it so hopefully he can be big (literally) for us in the last 3 months of the season

Hard to mark as despite the score line, Carlisle were woeful.

From where I was sat, standout performers were (in no particular order):
- forde
- moncur
- brown
- Archibald
- Galbraith
- James

Honourable mention to O’Neill for one very good piece of play that resulted in a corner late on in the second half.

Happy times to be an orient fan. They were crap, but it’s nice to see us put away the garbage.

Yep, I don’t disagree but we have a lot of games coming up and we will probably need to use him, especially if we get any more injuries.

Beckles immense yet again. Didn’t give that Armstrong a kick all game, won literally everything. That’s the first time I’ve seen Armstrong so dominated.

James was not good, lots of brain fart moments, guess his head is all over the place at the moment.

Brown and El Miz are as good a midfield pairing as I can remember. I’d back them against anyone in this division. Their stats must be off the charts.

Credit to Moncs, understandably took a while to get going, only lasted 70 mins but put in his best performance all season. He can play a part, just not against teams that play football and we have to press.

Ruel is a poor replacement for Agyei. If Dan us out for the season, you can understand why Richie is so peed off we let Drinnan go with no senior replacement.

Thanks for the ratings dogs, I thought Galbraith had a good game when playing fullback and Moncur was excellent all be it for only 65 minutes. Brynn and Beccles have had better games of late, Brown was solid and Fordes first goal was a cracker, I had a great view of it in the east stand.

Nobody going to mention Brynn’s sliced kick for their first goal?
Has to cost him at least 0.5, no?

Brynn did slice the back pass from el Miz. He should have played it wide to Galbraith who had made himself available.

I didn’t realise it at the time but Beckles made a massive balls up, trying to pick a pass when it just had to go.

Agree with you about that passage of play but it stemmed from Sol slicing a clearance up into the centre of our half instead of away properly. He’s been playing well lately but that clearance/ save double will be a minute he’ll want to forget .
As the defence trudged back to the restart Sol could clearly be seen saying ‘it’s on me.’

Everyone makes mistakes, unfortunately keeper errors often lead to goals and stand out.

Normally I'm very much onside with your ratings Bera but honestly, a 6 for Pigott?? You've had an absolute nightmare there. Headed wide when it would have been far easier to score and then tripped over his own feet when presented with another golden chance. Shocking cameo from our number 9.

From EFL website:

"Shaq Forde became the first teenager to score twice in a league match for Leyton Orient since Ruel Sotiriou against Stevenage in February 2020."

I thought Brown had a very strong game and even ignoring the goals Forde is showing an understanding of what he has to do to play regular football with his defensive side of the game.

A mad game where the opposition have zero attempts at goal but score two!

also maybe the ball shouldn't have been a yard behind him quite easy to make someone a scapegoat but also have to have a bit of objectivity

Totally agree - the air shot near the end was terrible - a 6 is generous indeed - not sure if moving Drinan out whilst retaining Pigott was the right thing to do

The problem is that Pigott still has 18 months of his contract to go, whereas Drinan only has a few months and is more injury prone.
Not sure many clubs would want Pigott anyway.
