He joins Barnet on loan until the end of the season. Good luck to him

Best wishes, hope the injury curse lifts for him and he can get a good run of games from now until end of season

He never let us down when he came on as sub a few times last season.
He’s been cursed with terrible luck on the injury front.
Wish him the best of Luck at Barnet.

Bit of a step down, seems a top pro and bloke but I think he is finished, he was getting injured when coming back from injury, think an early retirement is on the cards for him sadly

He has been so unlucky with injuries. 34 games in 3 years.
All the best Mr. Thompson.

Might well be a great chap but , unfortunately, not a great signing due to the continual injuries.
Best of luck at Barnet.

Let’s hope we put the freed up funds to good use….
Good luck Tommo, seems like a decent professional but wasn’t up to L2 last year so this makes sense all round.

@ceb can you do a cartoon series of him having ridiculous accidents?

Thompson going obviously linked to Cooper signing. Think another attacker coming in was going to be reliant on Drinan or Moncur going, unless this Agyei rumor is right and our hand is forced.

Thompson seemed like the definition of a good pro, shame we didn't get more from him than positive vibes. Seems like the sort that Ling will add to the coaching staff once he stops playing..

An average player who couldn’t complete more than 20 games a season.
Best of luck to him at Barnet. If he can avoid injury he’ll do alright at that level,

Don’t remember him ever letting us down on the pitch. Was very highly rated after we first brought him in. Was very solid when called upon last January and we were looking vulnerable at the back. I think the long absences have coloured people’s views.

When he first signed he really looked the business and there was a last ditch block last season that was the thing of legend throwing body on the line. Sadly won't be the last footballer to have their potential cut short by injury.

Cooper has been here on the budget alongside Thompson all season.

Definitely a possibility.
Didn't we sign him because him and Lingy live in the same village or something?

He had a decent spell, got injured, looked crap, got injured and everyone was creaming when he signed a new contract. Looked out of his depth or injured ever since.
At least that’s how I remember it

I actually think Adam is a good player but unfortunately his injuries ruined his chances at Orient . Hopefully his injury problems are now behind him and I wish him good luck at Barnet .

Too good for the National league, but never fit, so not sure there's any league 2 takers.

Would guess that there was but Barnet is local and a great opportunity to get regular footy, with the added excitement of the playoffs beckoning. Nice move and all the best to him.
