Acceptable to sing the same songs as fans of other clubs. I am particularly referring to the awful putting on a show but there are others and it’s not just us, even fierce rivals are singing the same songs. Am I just old.

It's easy & catchy, Rockin all over the worlds hardly unique either by the club, yet loads love it. Apologies for thinking it was a moan.

Lack of imagination and wit from the young uns on the terraces, I guess?
Hearing two sets of fans chanting 'We've got super [insert managers name]' simultaneously is soul destroying.

Isn’t the Darren Pratley song unique. I have going to the O’s for years and our fans are more vocal now (specially away) than I can ever recall. The North standers in particular make a decent amount of noise.

I was thinking the other day how it’s funny that the chants have changed since ten years ago, nevermind the 70s. At the odd away day now I don’t know half the words.

When Ryan Dickson played at the same time as Tiny, we had “Dickson Cox!”

We are the only ones that have the 'Orient clap clap, Orient clap clap' song (based on the German national team song).

Thats a different song, that's 'Orient clap clap clap' which very rarely gets sung anymore and is obviously common as muck.
It's the chant I was referring to at Orient in the 70s part of the 80s .
Not sure what one you were meaning

The one that started mid 90s and is still used today. (First time I remember hearing it was the 4-4 away at Bolton). It goes 'Orient clap clap, Orient clap clap'.

Soul destroying and ‘Stand Up For The Orient’ was great when arthritis in both knees was not an issue.

Interesting fact: it has it's origins in the formative years of the Orient Shipping company, and haw many of their employees returned from trips to the Far East with STIs.
