Well, no one has really said anything about it, so I will. Wellens is showing himself up and needs to get a grip.

You need to get a grip. He’s turned our form around and we are top of the form table for the last 5 games. He could stand there naked for all I care (might even enjoy it)

The reason why no one has said anything as there's nothing to say on it.
So it's a pointless thread....Move on

Blatant red card, can’t complain. He just can’t help himself.

Yeah, only seen the highlight but you can’t do that as a manager

Don’t blame him for doing it.

It’s just a shame one of the lesser coaching staff haven’t got the same mentality as him and done it instead of Richie.

If the useless lino and the useless ref had got a grip on Boltons ridiculous gaining 10 yards from every throw in, it wouldn't have happened.

Yes agreed, we would be equally upset if Ian Evatt put his hands out to try and stop Galbraith from nicking space, which he was also doing, as do many players.
It’s not right but it should be down to the officials, not the managers………….The officials weren’t great yesterday but I think Richie has had three Red cards now and I guess will get a ban of some kind.
Having said all that, I love Richie’s passion but just hope he can channel it a bit.

What I'm talking about has got absolutely nothing to do with him turning our form around?

I don't understand why he doesn't get Paul Terry to do the "Hassle" the ref/lino; abuse the opposition stuff. That's what Ross used to do in JE's reign. Let the No. 2 get the cards, not the main man.

I wouldn't change a single thing about Richie . It makes him what he is which is a bloody good manager . I'm just very grateful we have him at Orient .

It has, actually.

The type of character he is has no doubt helped him turn our form around. He wears his heart on his sleeve, is aggressive and wants to win and he wants his team to reflect that. Take away his ‘edge’ and the team and fans suffer too. I’ll take the odd red card as long as we don’t lose our heads on the pitch (which we didn’t) and he continues to be passionate and aggressive

He’s too hands on, even has to micro manage who stands where at throw ins.

A bit of straw clutching there but on the whole not a bad attempt in his defence.

Unfortunately Nessy since then I think the rules have changed and only ONE person is allowed to stand in the technical area, which is nearly always Richie. PT and MH have to stand back.

This.

Instead of worrying about small negatives we should concentrate on the HUGE positives he brings - whilst someone sorts out a "Gofundme" to help with all the fines

Just imagine what he was like as a player! I reckon he's calmed down by comparison.
