Assumed Wellens did something much worse than that to get a red. It was a bit silly but Bolton were really taking the piss with stealing yards on throw ins.

Am I right in saying the linesman can only flag the cheating player up to Ref, although was so repetitive that the Ref must have seen one of the about 10 pi55 takes.

Wellen’s lightly touched player, nothing aggressive about it but he should know better. However the more I have seen recently I think RW is a right wind up merchant and enjoys the banter being taken seriously . Was a great match , we deserved to win but were very lucky not to concede end first half. Sad thing is we could have thrown it away easily having done all the work. Would have felt better to be 2 up. Well done chaps !

As a mark of how well we pressed from the re-start, Agyei even had another player in a dead-cert scoring position had he chosen a lateral pass.

Very pleasing result.

Shame about the empty seats in the East and South Stands. Wellens did not do too much wrong, just pointing out that the player was edging forward!
