Remember him he was some striker who left for a club called Huddersfield Town a while back

I don't think anyone really expected him to walk straight into the first team. He's made a decent move and good luck to him.

Decent move for me personally would be straight into the first team kicking a football not hanging about hoping I might get a game every now and then
U23s posh name for reserves?
Don’t get me wrong I really like Koroma as a footballer but I really hope he hasn’t been ill advised by his agent etc
Remember what happened to that guy George Porter
If Huddersfield knew he wasn’t going to feature in the first team why not a season long loan back to us where he could be getting valuable game time

Depressing. Hopefully he works his way into the squad.
Bonne didn’t play a minute on Saturday either.

I’m not sure Josh is ready to play as yet alongside Aron Mooy and Co.
They look a cut above but let’s give Josh a chance, and i’m Sure he’ll get one at some point.

Both players were excellent for us but going from the National League to Championship level really is a massive step up in standard . I hope I'm wrong but I think both will struggle at that level.

Yes, but to be fair to Charlton they were always getting a point away and ended up getting three, so not much incentive to bring Bonne off the bench.

League 2 wages compared to Championship side relegated from the premiership with parachute payments .
At the very least he has doubled his wages
maybe tripled ,so i doubt very much he has been ill advised.

What a bizarre thread. Why on earth would a non league forward walk straight in to a championship team. I expect him to get game time later on in the season and kick on next season and am sure that's his expectations too. He has the chance to train with much better players using much better facilities and kick on with his career and people think he should have stayed here just because he would be a guaranteed starter.

Agreed Adz - and its the FIRST game!
Koroma more than Bonne will need a settling in period; he's younger and farther away from home. Huddersfield makes Leyton look like Buckingham palace!

It's almost like clubs higher up the pyramid don't buy players based on their potential instead of current ability. Or that in the recruitment process the club will have a plan for the player that they share at the time of recruitment so the player has an idea of what's in store for them in year 1 and year 2.

Hi Little Mate. I actually lived in Huddersfield for five years and it's a much better area than Leyton. Im from London and proud of it but living in Yorkshire was a lovely experience with character towns and beautiful countryside and scenery. Not all great but where is?
