Very dangerous country. Notice they don't do their fighting they get others to do it for them. It now looks like the USA and the UK are going to take on the Houti rebels. Good luck with tjat.

More in common with the US than the Americans would care to admit.

Weirdly, after the above LOLsome typo, I checked my phone settings and the keyboard is set up to "English (LGBTQI+)" as default rather than "English (UK)". Have changed it now but Samsung's woke agenda is going too far.

Iran dropping bombs in Syria, Iraq and Pakistan in the space of a week
Calls for an Iranian ceasefire will be deafening before long

What's the goal for Iran going after 'Israelis' in Kurdistan and IS in Syria and Pakistan? Is the latter at least nominally under the guise of retribution for the bomb attack last month? Or just doing some maximum chaos for LOLs?

Yes, an exact analogy for why people protest in this country about Israel, I'm sick of politicians constantly saying that we stand side by side with Iran.

It's all about testing and stretching the US security guarantee. The US is a (sort of) security partner for Pakistan, and is already trying to support Ukraine, Israel and Egypt (the latter being the
actual target of attacks on maritime shipping in the red Sea).
Interestingly, yesterday North Korea announced it would no longer pursue reconciliation with the South. Instead, it will rewrite its constitution to declare the South as a permanent adversary. The US is also a security guarantor for South Korea.
It's increasingly looking like there is a coordinated sequence of events being orchestrated by Russia, China, Iran and North Korea. An escalation of tensions with China following the Taiwanese elections is now expected and will just add to the headache.
Despite what the cranks may believe, the US (and allies) are desperate to avoid any direct military conflict with any of these states. But the axis of resistance/evil (depending on your viewpoint) appears to be forcing things to a head whereby the US will have to decide on whether it goes for war (in which case we're all f*cked) or retreats back into it's pre-WW2 state of relative isolation (in which case, we're also f*cked).
