Ah, the transfer window rumour mill. Is there anything more pointless and tedious? Mind you, I heard that a Spanish international midfielder was spotted on Leyton High Road yesterday

In an ideal world of course you're right but at the moment the club hasn't got the money for that type of signing . Therefore the club has to be shrewd in the transfer market . Don't expect any eye catching signings.

I think there is insufficient investment in the club from our generous owners, generous but out of their league as far as sufficient investment goes.
I have been supporting and watching the O’s for 67 years now and will never support another team.

Another midfielder would be good

These rumours we hear every transfer window are just made up rubbish. All clubs, including Orient, keep their business dealings quiet, nobody says anything for fear of alerting another club etc.
If we get anyone in, we will know about it when it happens and not before. Knowing Ling, and the speed at which he works, it wont be till the end of the month

Never heard of him before. Just looking at his Wikipedia page, and granted you don’t get the whole story just looking at stats, but if this rumour is true it’s amazing to think that 5 goals in 20 in League 2 can get you a move to a bigger team in a bigger league.
