Who are your favourite lazy Orient players? Personally I dont mind if a skillful player doesnt run their kneecaps to dust, thats a job for the crap players. My top 3-

George Moncur

I quite liked Henderson, he was an absolute brute and one of the most effective target men we've had. 'Fair play' to him for sticking it to the Italians.

I don't think you can call Moncur lazy. The desire is there, he's just overweight and unfit.

I have no time for lazy players - the very least you can expect from any player is effort.

Well you yourself state he's overweight and unfit. Why would a professional sportsman be in that state after all the time he's been with us.

I know nothing about his lifestyle.

These lazy players probably just have a lower natural fitness level.

Who was that Striker we had on loan in about 2009. Think he had a decent career, maybe at Palace? Remember he came on for his debut and there was a loose ball that would have put him clean through and he couldn't be arsed to make any attempt to get it.

Definitely an element of that, no question.

I remember as a kid we had a player called Jimmy Hallybone and some West Side wag shouted out he should be called Jimmy Lazybones, which I thought was the funniest thing I'd ever heard.

We know he had long COVID, it may be he is still struggling to recover from it. He doesn't strike me as having a bad attitude or someone who's caning booze all the time.

Fair point - but if it is long Covid and he hasn’t fully recovered then that’s probably the end of his career.

Don't think he was lazy so much as finished. He wasn't known as Slowcrock for nothing.

I don't know where the evidence is that Moncur is overweight or unfit as Richie has stated neither. Ill, yes. I do have a slimmer, possibly more muscular, waistline than him but I am only 5'4", on the other hand I am 75.
