I find your crude opinion of him sad and disappointing indeed especially as he has done so
much for mental health and gambling awareness, topical on another thread (locked). Your empty and cold view on him without reason but some talk about people who themselves have a form of disability (midgets you say). Seems to say more about you than Peter Shilton one of the best goal keepers we as a nation have ever produced, capped 125 times. I wonder what you have achieved in life to refer to someone of his status in such derogatory terms?

Give him a bit of slack, he had gambling addiction and mental health issues, running towards the buffers in his football career and had mouths to feed. Celebrities have done far worse things to earn a crust. Why do you imply you despise him so much? He did not turn to robbing banks . When he was on the pitch he was like a brick wall built in goal, if injured we 5hit ourselves.

Interesting story that. Shilton said something which a Liverpool fan took offence to. The Liverpool fan then sent abuse to shilton, calling him a c***.

The Liverpool fan was then punished for doing this. So it seems like people can’t just unilaterally decide that they are offended enough to go around abusing people freely…

I wonder if had a bet on that?
