Didn't realise Andy Scott was in charge there until reading that.

Bit of an over reaction from their fans if you ask me - that's the first game they've lost in something like 8, all the way back in October. I guess it's just frustration at getting turned over by smaller neighbours and seeing their play off hopes disappear after too many draws in that unbeaten run.

Charlton were poor, as we were in the first half. But are they a poor side or simply typical of most of the sides in League 1? There aren't that many points separating 7th and 20th - it's very congested around where we are in 13th.

Apart from Stevenage who did a job on us I haven't been impressed with any of the teams I've seen at Orient so far . Even Portsmouth which wasn't really a 4-0 game were not that good .

Minimum 50 points required from a possible 69 for the play offs. Becomes a bit more doable with 6 in the next 4 days.

The top 6/8 teams are at least two seasons in front of us as regards to quality.most of which apart from Stevenage have much bigger budgets than we do. I’m not really sure we can compete with these teams unless we get a rich benefactor, increase our capacity or move to a different ground. I think for me and perhaps Richie? I really didn’t think there would be such a big gulf in quality but there is. However as good as it is at the top half of the league is the bottom eight is littered which second division sides and you can include Charlton in that category. Just goes to show how beneficial it is having a good striker is(May).

Yes I remember that Pompey had 4 chances and scored 4 goals, but they weren’t that much better than us.
Stevenage, as much as I hate to say it, were probably the most ‘effective’ opposition we’ve faced and they seem to be difficult to play against not just for Orient, but also other teams.
I was impressed by Oxford by we could have got a draw in that game as well.

Agreed. Proper OTT. They were far more abusive towards their own players/staff than Reading who genuinely are in the sh*t.

The entitlement of football fans really is bizarre sometimes.
