Today's Ref

Anyone notice who today's referee was? Yup, it was the little Hitler who sent off James Dayton at Sutton Utd a few years ago for throwing his boot with his leg hanging off after he was the victim of a disgraceful late challenge that went unpunished. I don't think I've ever been so angry at any football match both watching or playing.
I've seen worst refereeing performances than today's although there were one or two dodgy yellow cards in there. However, how this bloke ever got promoted to the EFL list after that Sutton game I'll never know!!

Can’t remember seeing a ref get so many obvious calls wrong.

Yes he made some bad decisions for both teams

An appalling display of incompetence.
Is there a hidden agenda from refs to book as many O’s players as possible whilst allowing oppositions to get away with most things done against an O’s player.
Seriously did we warrant five times as many yellow card as the opposition?

The one where he gave the free kick in our direction then booked Hunt for taking it was comedically bad

I know people won't like this theory but I still reckon it's the FA making an example of Orient after we got well-known for our shithousery last season. RW also isn't shy of criticising the standard of refereeing and new guidance (which I'm 100% in agreement with him on)

Atrocious ref. Only positive from his performance is that there was no bias in it. He made equally poor decisions against and in favour of both sides.

But let’s not forget he did award our penalty - 99% of the time a tumble of arms and legs like that would be instantly seen as infringement upon the ‘keeper.
But, yes, he is a numpty.

Easily forgotten part of that day
