Only just noticed this. Posting on here in case it’s news to anyone else.
Any particular reason we are kicking off early? Are we on tele?

Think most of our recent home Boxing Day games have been 1pm if I recall?

Yes, it's been an early Christmas kick off for a long time now, but why.? Someone did give a reason a few years back but I can't remember what it was.

in the distant past, the police would not allow London clubs to host other London clubs on a Bank holiday at 3pm owing to numbers of police needed for games when they had large crowds at other events, eg christmas sales, etc
at one time I think all games had to kick off at 11am. This seems to have been relaxed since the 1970s/1980s hooligans got too old to fight without zimmer frames
