I don't think the window just shuts by some sort of soft close mechanism. It will be slammed shut as usual.

Get Anthony Grant in the building and then we’ll go with what we’ve got. Can always bring in another striker on loan during the season if needs be.

No you can't. Loans have to be done during the windows as well.

We don't need another striker. We already have 6- we can't put two on the bench as it is.

I thought I read Torquay wanted him but Alabi turned them down.

Not really.
He has been trouble at two previous clubs, not worth taking the risk.
Look for younger players who we can improve and sell on.

In that sense yes agree, I mean only in the fact he's playing us on Saturday and that's usually a bad sign e.g. Palmer :lol:

Grant did the defensive stuff pretty well but his distribution was poor. Could just be a bit rusty.
