Looks like there will be a bit of a showdown between these two this weekend. Any prediction for how this one might play out?

The only thing I'm sure about is that no-one on any 'side' will embarrass themselves through hypocrisy, culture-war stoking, ignorance, stupidity or making it about themselves. Pretty sure about that.

Let them fight it out. Despite our best efforts, we've failed to solve the middle-east issues through boardin', so perhaps a good old punch up is the way to go.

Wonder if any of the far right will decide they really like Jewish people actually and will turn up to have a bit of a ruck with the students on the Palestine protest?

Even though the march doesn’t start until 1pm with so many people already congregated before 11am I’m expecting the two minutes silence to be disrespected . If the armistice on Sunday is disrupted in any way then I don’t think there’s any coming back from that.

On this occasion the Nazi’s are on the left so I doubt it

Good to see JSO not letting the moment go without somehow making it all about them.

Fair play to you for leaning in to this arrant nonsense, good consistency.

I expect most of them will be at the football, or fulminating on social media.

Apparently they were arrested for obstructing the traffic walking down Whitehall, while headed to Parliament, and the arresting officers chose to lay them down in the middle of the road next to the Cenotaph. No idea why they would choose to do that.

Excellent spot, video on DM front page confirms this.

Indeed.
However, the rozzers didn't stop them getting to the National Gallery.

This is the world we live in, gotta ensure the culture wars flourish and we get angry at the wrong people.

A thought struck me. The Arabs want the Israelis to leave. So, do us white English have the right to demand all these Arab types leave England?
Unfortunately I might also have to go because of my Irish heritage, in fact I might have to be cut up because I think I also have some Jewish blood in me.
Guess these pro Palis don't think like that!

Judging by most of your posts this must have been a novel experience.

I cant see what the problem is here
Remembrance Sunday is obviously on Sunday, the planned march is Saturday, as i understand it
The supporters of Apartheid Israel are pissed because they are in the minority. About 75% of the British population support the Palestinians, despite non stop Israel propaganda from the msm
Just announced...10 thousand Palestinian civilians murdered in Gaza in a month

How did you arrive at this figure?
By speaking to about 4 people, is my guess.
Seems watertight.

A weekend that celebrates armistice, I.e. peace seems like the perfect weekend for a March that is calling for peace. I don’t see the problem?

Saturday is the 11th , Armistice Day. Sunday is Remembrance Sunday at the Cenotaph with Dignitaries in attendance and the marching past.

Of course, everyone wants peace, and (despite my post), the real sadness I have around this are for the civilian deaths on both sides.
They are of course just pawns in the game of war and ludicrous "religions".
However- it is arrogant in the extreme to think that a march on the other side of the world (UK) is going to change much in the immediate future.
They already marched.
And sat in railway stations.
It made no difference. They could march the weekend after Remembrance Sunday. ~
It's called respect for the UK's war dead. Let's see if there is any.

The war dead that gave their life in the name of peace. I’m sure they’d feel very respected if they knew like minded people, doing something for injustice were doing it on remembrance.
What are you doing to respect them?
