League football returns to Brisbane Rd and I’ve got to say I’m so excited
I’ll be doing my usual routine walk from Lucky Towers to Leyton sometimes I go to the Royal Caff for a cuppa and an egg Sarnie but if it’s packed I give it a swerve I then go into Coronation Gardens and have a quick word with Laurie then off to the Supporters Club for an award winning roll(cheese and pickle for me)and a soft drink then off I go to my seat and hope for the best end of game walk back to Lucky Towers
Here’s hopefully to another great season

Got to admit I’ve never been looking forward to L2 season as much as this. I hated NL with a passion and being the “big fish” didn’t make me feel any better despite the novelty value.
Club shop for a couple of keeper tops for my grandsons in Aus. Then the SC for a nice pint of stout and an personal toast to JE in thanks. The to game and pay my respects to that legend JE. That will be a very sad time. Reflecting on the sadness that he will never see the fruits of his genius getting us back to League football.

In L2 terms we are as big as most. Bigger than many. Bigger than sone in L1 too. Compared to the prem we don’t even qualify as shrimps. But Southend do.
