Yes, been on the cards a long while . I actually find this kind of charge acceptable as it is ‘pay as you use’ .
The ULEZ is ‘you can pollute if you pay to pollute’.

I had no idea another tunnel under the Thames was being built, but if it, and Blackwall Tunnel are both going to cost to cross, then with Dartford crossing also tolled, it means there will be in practical terms no way of crossing north to south of the Thames, without having to pay.
What happens if Khan is voted out next May? Maybe the charges wont happen then?

I may be wrong but weren’t these tunnels built with tax payers money? Be charging you to walk on the pavement next. This country has no nuts, we don’t stand up to these people, don’t think the French would stand for it?🙊

Once again its political games. Tories will starve tfl of funds so it has to introduce charges like this.

One of the popular things the SNP did in Scotland was to abolish tolls on the Erskine, Forth and Skye Bridges.

Psychologically for me it was closure as I always deeply resented paying a toll to get over the Erskine Bridge on my frequent trips to the hielans.

Yes, on their motorways . I had to go through two or three toll gates while driving across France .

Only if you want to die . You would need to have the brains of a carrot or credibly brave to try that .

Is this a way of bringing in funds, or a gradual pissing us all off, to end cars on Britain's roads?

Unless Corbyn runs and splits the left vote, it isn't happening. The Tory candidate is a complete nutter and a no mark to boot.

French pay tolls on their roads
But we’re they built by private companies or were they built using tax payers money, the Blackwell tunnel was built by using tax payers money so why should tax payers have to pay for something they have already contributed to?🙊

"Split the vote" what an arrogant and amusing concept.

Jerry should stand. As the only Left candidate he would win.
