Hard to not get carried out with that performance, the football at times was sublime. Every pass seemed to be finding his man, the movement was outstanding, we matched the physicality of a direct team well. Admittedly Cambridge looked very poor, so hard to know quite how good that was.
Also give an extra point to whoever did the Theo assist, couldn't make it out at the time but it was a beauty of a ball.
Byrnn - 7. Didn't have much to do but handled everything thrown at him well and his distribution looks a step up on Vigs so far
James - 8. Passing was excellent, didn't wobble defensively and helped dictate the pace of the game
Turns - 8. If there was a worry about him, it was the possibility he'd struggle with faster, stronger forwards. Handled it perfectly today and his passing was excellent
Happe - 7. Didn't have much to do, did what we had to well.
Galbraith - 8. Thought he was in for a long afternoon after getting done for pace and booked early on, but after an initial ropey period , looked like a hell of a player.
Brown - 8. Kept the ball moving, won it back consistently and did the metronome role perfectly.
Mizouni - 9. Good to know he's a cheat code at this level too.
Ruel - 7. Pressed well, seems a bit quicker this season, only marked down for some poor finishing
Theo -9, motm. Outstanding. Is making the step up much better than I'd expected.
Graham - 7. Some poor touches here and there, but gave us the control Wellens wants from a forward and will only get better with more minutes.
Forde - 7. Needs to work on his hold up play based on today, but good movement and some good interlinking with others. Hopefully will stop people banging on about needing another forward.

It was a fantastic performance all around. Happe & Turns making a strong shout for being the starting defensive partnership. Having confidence in their goalie had a noticeably positive impact on our defence today. Really pleased to see Brynn back. He commands the box well and you can rely on him to pluck crosses out of the air. He made a good save down to his low right towards the end of the game. Reassuring to have a proper GK between the sticks again.

Give it a rest mate, you’re getting so boring trying to prove your opinion of Howes.

I’m praising the excellent performance today. Your negatively isn’t welcome this afternoon. I didn’t even mention Howlers.

Takes a real kind of mindset to watch a performance like that and your only reaction is to make it all about a keeper who didn't play.

How has praising Sol Brynn, who did really well and kept a clean sheet, got anything to do with someone who didn’t play?
You don’t think Brynn should be praised for his part in the win and for keeping a clean sheet?

Depends on what RW needs to do tactically to tackle Stevenage, especially if they still have the personnel for the route 1 physical bombardment.

Went to the game today. Thoroughly enjoyable. Too high a rating for El Miz. He had a good game but he always has good games. Theo and Galbraith MOM. I haven’t seen anyone as one footed as Graham since James Brophy.

Best and most dominating performance I’ve seen in a very long time. Cambridge were absolutely nowhere.
It should have been far more than 2-0.
A lot of players put in big performances today and this augurs well for Stevenage on Saturday. Bring them on!

CBA with individual ratings but everyone was excellent, from front to back. Only tiny quibble was that we didn't absolutely pump them, could have easily been 5.

I don't know what it is about some Orient fans but when we win it's partly because the other team was very poor .Well bollocks , Cambridge are a decent side but we played them off the park . Cambridge were not poor , we were fantastic today .

Agree if Cambridge are poor can’t wait to play the 3 teams they have beaten so far

League table isn't much to go by right now. Charlton comfortably beat us in the end and we're above them.

Won’t do all the ratings as everyone was 7 and above but the following players deserve a mention:
Theo - had my doubts over him stepping up but he’s been on one so far. Must run more than any player on the pitch and his crossing, pressing and movement are outstanding. Could be our key player this season. Even did it on the right today.
James - infuriating sometimes but today he looked like a different player. Aggressive and alert - the tackle he made last ditch was immense and the ball to theo for his goal was outstanding.
Brown - not a stand out performance Particularly but he’s such a quiet player who does his job really well. The amount he cleaned up and was then the pivot for us moving the ball out of defence was numerous
Richie - special mention for A - giving the team the confidence they played with today which is no mean feat after no wins in 5. And B - for making the big selection calls. They were all spot on and not easy ones.

Yes but it's still great to be out of the bottom four . Now if we can keep out of there for the rest of the season I'd be delighted .

So why did you have to write 'Reassuring to have a proper GK between the sticks again'' and why the cheap digs at reserve keeper Sam Howes when you persisted in calling him ''Howlers'' Yes Sam had an uncertain start but improved in every game and was very good in the match against Blackpool. We are supposed to be encouraging the Os team, not mocking certain players, It was known when we signed Sam that he would be on a learning curve, so please lay off him now and hopefully he will improve with the professional training he is now getting and prove to be a reliable reserve keeper.

I also don't understand the dig at Howes . He's been fine and played very well last week at Blackpool where he proved he's a decent keeper .

I'm delighted for Shaq Forde today on his home debut . He looks a really good player and has made a big difference to our attack . I'm pleased he got our first goal because he deserved it .

Extra nice for the Os team as well !
