Richie and Paul have had their red cards rescinded after a review. What a farce that was!
Glad to see sense prevailed in the end though!

They will have to keep cool clear heads at Blackpool. We desperately need a result and some points.

While that’s obviously good news I would have preferred Happe’s red being rescinded. That wasn’t even a yellow never mind a red . Ridiculous decision by the ref .

Not rescinded after all. The club have deleted the tweet saying they were & replaced it with:

Correction: Following the red cards received by Richie Wellens and Paul Terry following Tuesday night's defeat to Wycombe Wanderers, both have been charged by the FA.

The club is required to submit a response to the charge by 6pm on Wednesday 23 August.

Standard penalties may apply if the charges are admitted, but both can take to the touchline for this weekend's fixture versus Blackpool

Media guy had a bit of a howler with the original tweet.

(Which I can't post a screen shot of because I can't remember how to post pics, sorry!)

The new rules are quite clear, managers and coaches are not allowed to confront ref on the pitch. If they do it's a red .

There taking all the passion out of the game etc....

When they said 'rescinded' I did think how can that be ? The bloke was going crazy right in the refs face.

Having seen Happe’s red card incident I can understand why .

Me too. Usain Bolt would not have caught that if Happe had given him a yards start.

Don't worry though PGMOL will apologies for their members errors though. That makes making the same mistakes several times acceptable.

The second bookings were not on the pitch though and RW and PT were not exactly right in the ref's face.

As you say, passion being taken out of the game up to a point but there needs to be a common ground between officials and players/ coaches. We have basicqlly gone from one extreme to another this season.

Wellens and Terry are both on the touchline today
