Very harsh to just single out Ruel, even though I agree he is not good enough, neither on thelis showing are 9 other players in Orient shirts today. El Miz only player who looks like he wants the ball.

I think a little embarrassing is an understatement, we are a shambles.
Sweeney was terrible, hunt not that much better, no midfield apart from El Miz, no attacking threat at all.

The issue is the squad was never strong enough in crucial areas. Replacing Vigs was going to be tough and as per usual Orient go with a short term option and a complete non league gamble. The up front we put all our eggs into one basket who crocks himself in 10 minutes and is out for 5 months. We are now left with Ruel who is clearly well out of his depth. Drinnan who couldn’t score in a brothel and Piggot who has scored less goals than Beccles!!!

El Miz so far has been the only bright light in a squad already struggling after just 2 games.

Feels like Wycombe will be more of a benchmark test that the openers.

Sure we’ve been really unlucky with injuries and that is clearly a factor, but it’s been glaringly obvious we’re short up front, I’m happy with Pigott but someone alongside is vital.

Gut instinct is we’ll be ok, but no question letting in four at home not good enough.

That was not a fun afternoon.

We should have just got rid of all our crap players and gone out and spent 100,000 on Harry Kane .

Ruel is a goalscorer, playing him so deep is a waste and he may as well not play.

If Pigott is going to start every game then Ruel should be playing up alongside him otherwise I just can't see us scoring

Pigott was isolated and had little support……….obviously he’s not a No.9 but RW doesn’t play with two central strikers, as is the ‘modern way’ ………I like Ruel but he needs to play as an out and out striker to be effective IMHO

To be honest I'm far more concerned about our defenders .

El-Miz was head and shoulders above the rest of the team .Easily my MOTM.

You're having a laugh if you think we could buy Harry Kane for a hundred thousand . Maybe hundred million would be different .
