Watched the game in October 63 we lost 6-3 at home, Ron Saunders scored a hat - trick they played in red that day as we played in blue then.

Think it’s going to be a rough August against tough opponents before finding a bit of form in September.

Think this is bit optimistic tbh, but I reckon we can keep them away from our goal for the most part and hopefully someone gets a break. Not holding my breath tho. As LPE said, I think the start of the season might prove difficult and TenaMen will see a boost in sales of the next few weeks.

Yes, I was at that game. Saunders was on fire that day. To be fair though this was the game that Stan Charlton had to go in goal after our goalkeeper was badly injured.

I'd like to think we can at least get our first League 1 point but without more firepower being brought in I think we'll lose . We simply don't have enough in attack .1-2 to Portsmouth .

Trouble is I doubt we'll have that new signing brought in before Saturday . With only Pigott up front I think we'll lose again . Please God I hope I'm proven wrong and we win .

Agreed, the last time we had a decent striker up front the queen was on the throne but Victoria’s been dead for some time so come on Mr Ling get it sorted
