Re: Loan
We need a No.9 now not during the season
Needs to be signed before start of season
Out of all the positions we needed before we signed anyone for this season, priority was a No.9, and still is!
Really pleased with recruitment for this season, just need the final piece of the jigsaw

Re: Loan
Hate to be the bearer of bad news because you are posting the same comment on every thread, but we've signed our no 9. It'll be a loanee kid who'll barely play brought in as depth.

Re: Loan
Hate to say this Misterbobadobalus but I never it isn’t a young kid, I just said a loan nothing else, if your asking me would I prefer a more established player yes I would, but as someone else as said on here we haven’t got a bottomless pit of money, who is this number 9 your talking about? If it’s Pigot who incidentally I tipped a couple of weeks ago, according to Wellens he’s a number 10?. Not unless you mean Drinnan?Mistadobalina wrote: ↑Wed Aug 02, 2023 6:59 pm Hate to be the bearer of bad news because you are posting the same comment on every thread, but we've signed our no 9. Re: Loan
With this bloke coming in today, Pigott will be pushed up front and Theo played out wide. I think you have your No.9 already.
Sorry bedwetters.

Re: Loan
It’s what you call very unlucky, the squad was looking good, now the forward line is a mess, it’s depleted with injuries, but what makes it worse, is the main position of No.9 goalscorer still hasn’t been filled, this signing I believe is so key to our survival in L1 this season, and should have been one of the 1st signings, not left to last minute.
Piggott needs a No.9.partner for the season.
I wonder if Ed Turns can play No.9![🤔](//cdn.jsdelivr.net/gh/twitter/twemoji@latest/assets/svg/1f914.svg)

Rising star Kwadwo Baah is hoping his recent run of success away with the German national setup will stand him in good stead as he continues his push for first-team minutes with the Hornets. The 18-year-old forward - who signed terms at Vicarage Road in May following three goals in 13 League One starts for Rochdale last season – netted twice for Germany’s Under-19s side en route to the Four Nations Cup title in Slovakia earlier this month.
Despite having made his England Under-18s debut against Wales in March, Baah explained that conversations with the German camp had been ongoing since the early stages of his stay at Spotland. And after playing a key role in the country of his birth’s tournament triumph against hosts Slovakia, Portugal and the Netherlands, Baah is confident the experience has added an extra dimension to his game.
