Trains to Charlton

Post by BengeO »

What is nearest rail station to Charlton? - and will it be affected by the rail strikes on Saturday?
May not have the car this weekend, so is there a tube station within reasonable walking distance to the ground?

North Greenwich and the bus for me , I don't think there's any rail strikes Saturday so Charlton station is nearest if you want to do that route.

45 minute walk from North Greenwich and (if you drink) a few good boozers en route to break up the journey.

Just a thought but went to Greenwich on a boat a few weeks ago which I caught from tower bridge underground would that be anywhere near the ground or would it be to far to walk? Plus there were some lovely pubs around there๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ™ˆ

Getting buses there will be fine, just going to be aggro getting a bus back after.
