Can't help thinking that all the right wing types moaning about this are going against the will of Brexit and Maggie Thatcher. Give control back to British companies and let them operate in the free market as they see fit.

The boss of the bank that owns Coutts has apologised to Nigel Farage after his account was closed. In a letter to the former Ukip leader, she said she was sorry for the “deeply inappropriate comments” made about him in internal emails, and said they did not reflect the view of the bank.

…except, of course, when it comes to being allowed to protest or bringing in voter ID in the knowledge it will disproportionately prevent young people from voting.

No, the bigger picture here is that if you consider it fair game for businesses/organisations to refuse service to people for a perceived mismatch between their (legal) values and those of the business, then it is unlikely that scumbags like Farage will be the only people impacted.
