Well I thought Norwich was the last friendly
Would seem it’s not
Orient XI will make trips to Canvey Island and Potters Bar on Monday, July 29 and Tuesday, August 6 respectively. The latter currently employs former-O’s captain John Mackie as Assistant Manager.

Not really. It's perfectly normal to arrange friendly games for fringe players to get game time during the season. It's what the reserves team used to fulfil.

Everyones fitness, especially the bit part players, wont be 100% yet so it makes sense to give the unused subs and squad players some playing time in case we need them.
