anyone here get to any of their recent shows? For me, they’ve been better this year than at any time since 97ish

Yeah, I got to Wembley.

For a stadium gig it was about as good as you'll get. They played the hits, played them well, and crowd was up for it.

There's a good you tube video of the whole gig. Looked fantastic, they sounded great.

Seems many enjoyed it and good luck to them. Personally I need to see a band in their own time. I have so many great memories of seeing bands who gave me a buzz of excitement and anticipation for new singles and albums. Never felt the need to see them after their time. Even a band I was too young to see initially. The Velvet Underground, I passed on when they started doing stadium gigs in the 90's. Probably not enjoying stadium gigs plays a factor. I have a mate who I used to go to loads of gigs with in the late 70's early 80's who still enjoys going to see some of the bands we saw back then.

Yep. I've not been to the Troxy before, so it will be a new venue.

Also got tickets for James/Happy Mondays in a few weeks in Crystal Palace, and Suede at Brixton Electric in December.

The Troxy's nice, art-deco style old cinema with funny "booths" at the front of the circle with sideways-facing seats. Saw the Specials there a couple of times.

Good venue, but bars seemed to struggle at times.

Gig was usual Moz. He needs to rotate his set list more, as too many songs have been there since his 2018 tour. And he continues to take the piss with a short 18 song set. A new band however, so it may be that is a limiting factor until they get to rehearse more of the back catalogue.

Still, the crowd enjoyed it enough as we goose-stepped and seig heiled along to Bonfire of Teenagers. Which he brough back into the set from last year instead of his latest dog whistle/conspiracy; Notre Dame.

The AI Lana vocal sound weird, especially when it is in the higher pitch.

I bet. I like it when bands from yesteryear continue to make new music.
