Yeah, weird how having compromat on Rebekah Brooks' mate would mean News International were less likely to blow the story up about their ex-employee. Something in Private Eye recently alleging they very much covered for him while he was at NotW and The Sun.

A relatively lesser known media personality was never going to grab the headlines in the same way as the BBC's primetime news anchor, but having News International on your side is no bad thing if you want to get up to no good.

The said rent boys story falls apart alittle bit after admitting he has a past arrest for extortion.

I was flicking through the tv channels last night and noticed him laughing and smiling while also looking very relaxed . I'll take this story about him with a pinch of salt . Edit ,OK I've just watched the above link. I believe Dan 100%. and I admire his courage . How some perfect idiots are so quick to judge is amazing .

Why would a gay man use an alias combining the names of two fictional characters from Eastenders and post a load of tripe all over the internet attacking heterosexual men? It doesn't make any sense.

Broadcaster Dan Wootton has admitted making "errors of judgement in the past" but denied any criminality as he responded to claims made against him.

I'm sure Huw Edwards will say exactly the same thing when he comes out of hiding.

I think the issue lately is simple, there's a very seedy element that still exists in part of the gay scene and it's being exposed recently with these celebrity scandals.

Take the Huw Edwards story as an example, if he simply came out and said "yes I paid a lot of money to see co#k" then the scandal goes away.

If it turns out Wootton is a 2022 Steven Port then he deserves all he gets.
