There’s been a trend in recent years of decent niche crisps getting discontinued

Any classics I’m missing? I fear for Walkers Marmite, Smiths Scampi Fries and the entire Golden Wonder Range.

Walkers

Worcestershire sauce quietly retired in 2021

Beef and Onion (less of a loss but surely better than smoky bacon)

Brannigans

Entire range binned in 2020, Roast beef and mustard was elite, special mention smoked ham and pickle.

Smiths

Cheese Moments, pub classic, removed in 2020

Didn’t realise Brannigans were gone, they were a treat.

If this was people’s favourite chocolate there would be more of a pushback

Smiths plain crisps with salt in a small twist bag inside - never been bettered.

Agreed. Was brought back by Walkers with the Smith's logo but vanished a few years back.

Hedgehog flavour. Discontinued in 1982 because there was no hedgehog in them.

The Walkers salt and shake brand is still available in supermarkets but becoming harder to find

Havent seen Roysters in a while.

Golden Wonder were a staple from a swimming pool ending machine - no sign in the shops now

Still going in Home Bargains, B&M and other discount shops…. For now

Tudor chocolate flavour crisps were disgusting

Add in Walkers BBQ Rib flavour which was a fave of mine

Marks and Spencer Truffle flavoured crisps were very nice. I only had them when we went to sister in laws, so for all I know you can still get them, but I didn't see any when I went in M&S the other day.

Spaghetti sauce Monster Munch

I couldn't eat prawn flavour crisps for years after girl said they smelt of ladies days

They still do the the truffle and olive oil large bags thankfully at the larger M&S, I buy them when I can as they’re damn good

Smiths Bovril crisps were the best ever!
Marmite are nice, but not the same.

Red Leicester Cheddars are very nice.

But apart from the blue salt bag, nothing beats Cheese & Onion IMO, not even pringles Sour Cream & Onion.

Yep agree Equaliser, sooooooo good, as I say best crisps ever by a mile!
