Richie alluded that the goalkeeper we have signed, but can't announce yet, was player of the season and could play in the Premier League at some point

Jamie Cumming fits the bill, MK Don's player of the season on loan from Chelsea

I think he would be a good signing. He is 23 and has already played more than 140 league games.

As Mindsweep mentioned he was voted MK Dons player of the season and also players player of the season last season.
Lots of L1 and L2 experience for a 23 year old 🤔

I know where you're coming from but he's only the keeper and as always I trust Richie's judgement . Anyway it was also down to the ten men in front of him playing badly .

We were nearly relegated with John Jackson in goal, he was half decent

He wouldn’t be attracting teams and being touted as a possible Premier League player if he wasn’t a good goalkeeper.

Only for the first half of that season. Was on loan at MK for the second half and they finished third....

According to Richie Wellens hints

A goalkeeper who was on loan last season
Tick MK Don's Jamie Cummings

A goalkeeper who won player of the season last season
Tick MK Don's Jamie Cummings

A goalkeeper who is younger than new signing 25 year old Sam Howes
Tick 23 year old Jamie Cummings.

A player who may play in the Premier League in the future
Tick Jamie Cummings plays at Chelsea FC

There we have it
2+2+2=37
So who knows
All will be revealed

Stuck Cummings name in the net an saw his video of last season. Looks like he had 3 seasons worth of saves to make at MK last year. His long passing seems good and he's agile. Didn't see one cross so don't know if he can catch!

Same applies to the other candidate Sol Bryan from Middlesbrough . He was player of the year for Swindon last season on loan. My thoughts he is the one

If you go on the Middlesbrough podcast Loan and away, the Swindon fan on it, belittles local press for mis reporting that!

Ok goalkeeper situation so far.Going by threads already placed on this forum, it would seem to be that the new number one keeper will be either Jamie Cumming or Sol Brynn, with whoever it is coming here on a one year loan. Newly signed keeper Sam Howes and Rhys Byrne will be the reserve keepers and If that all comes to pass, then perhaps Rhys Byrne may be sent out on loan to gain playing time and experience.

Football Insider reckons Sol Brynn, for whatever that's worth: https://www.footballinsider247.com/sour ... sol-brynn/

James Trafford,
on loan from City to Bolton last season, looks amazing, not only predicted to play in the Prem but for England too. Burnley are looking to buy him but may put him out on loan if they do.

1+1+1+1+1= fluff and guff???
