I joined the bedwetters club what feels like ages ago now so yes, I do.
Beccles. Thinking he might struggle in league one anyway.
Vigs. Never puts himself where the boots are flying. Good with the ball at his feet but general distribution pretty average. Makes the odd save but he’s a goalie.
Happe. Would be a shame but if after nursing him through a serious injury, the thanks orient get is offski then couldn’t care less about him
Smyth. Bit like Happe. Often injured and we have ignited his career, if he wants out without giving us a season in league one then he can do one.
Of course, if any of them sign then I love them really.

Would have doubts if their hearts are really in it at this point and if they sign it'll only be because other options fall through. Kinda feels like that spirit of togetherness of that squad is done now. Would love to know how Wellens and the other players feel about the situation.
I think all of them are replaceable on an individual level, just have concerns of whether the infamous transfer committee is capable of doing that for 10+ players by start of July and getting the level of quality required for L1.

Is this the same “infamous” transfer committee that got us a league winning team?
So much old bollox on here.

No, I just feel like we just have to be patient, and wait and see, and what will be will be.

I wonder how patient Richie is with all this delay in key players committing to the club after having just had a fantastic promotion winning season.
There must be a point when soon RW via Ling start to contact replacement players. We are four days after the deadline given by the club for these guys to sign and accept what was described by Lingy as very generous terms.
Maybe the players are on holiday , Vigs is apparently honeymooning somewhere , but Richie must be a bit anxious to start to build his squad.

I Have a feeling any who leave just want to play in a Loud atmosphere rather than 1000 odd in the TJS .

Ling always leaves it late to sign players, can't see this season being any different.

If Wellens happens to be on his way, it makes perfect sense that players would put signing a new contract on hold.

Let’s look at the positives, none have stated they are not signing for us, unlike that ungrateful Mbappe!!!

Think your just getting fed up with the wait dogs like a lot on here, the way I look at it is,what will be will be. The thing I find strange is that the club pride themselves on the openness and have said relatively little apart from two signatures and that the chairman said openly 2/3 weeks ago that there would be an announcement then? Nothing. Also how come that Stevenage sign players early( weather there quality signings or not) and we don’t. Like I said before I somewhat think Wellens has his arms tied behind his back.

The 2 players signed by Stevo are pony. Be patient. Decent players will sign. Think Vigs will go. Hoping Beckles will sign. Not sure about Smythe. Happe owes RW as he looked finished. If they don't sign we have a reasonable budget to go ewlsewhere. I am sur RW & ML have their own deadlines

Like I said, so much old bollox. Wellens is on record saying that you need good players, it’s not just down to the manager.

He also ended up doing a frustrated interview last summer about lack of progress on the CDM. Took the committee 5 attempts to end up with the right result, won't get away with that if we end up needing 10+ players this time around.

Any more want to get on board for the doom mongers bus. It broke down last season but looks like they've managed to get it started again.....

16 of our players were at end of contract when the season finished. The only two that I am aware that have negotiated a contract anywhere are Pratley and Brown who signed for us. Other clubs are similar, there are HUNDREDS of players out there looking for contracts, plus others in contract that may be available for transfer or loan. Everybody, clubs and players are negotiating. That said the same old bedwetters are out there panicking wanting everything done yesterday.

I agree but maybe these players are away on holiday so won't sign until they get back . Well, it's a possibility .

I don"t know about flooding of bedrooms, but l think certain members of this board, and they know who they are, must certainly be putting down lots of the brown stuff.

We only have to look at Forest Green to see what happens when your promotion winning manager and best players leave .

Agreed about the holiday. It may also be about the "newsflow" ahead or pre-season which is less than a fortnight away. I strongly suspect that LOFC HQ and Ritchie won't be back and up to full speed until this Monday morning. I'd expect newsflow after that - but even then Ritchie is not a panicker. He'd rather one good man than 2 average ones.
