Just a word of warning Fred, If I remember correctly the first time I met Max was in a bar in Edinburgh. I'd only recently moved back to Scotland and had just signed a contract for a new job. I posted, facetiously, on the old MB that I'd be buying the beers, thinking this was a safe bet as no one else was in Edinburgh. But no, up pops the bold Max to take up my offer. So beware when you offer him free beer!

Whenever you're next in Leyton to see the mighty Os (with the caveat helpfully suggested by EH16 - a pint means - ONE PINT)

I've enjoyed your contributions to these MB forums down the years, and even felt an unexpected pang of jealousy when you and the other Scotchlanders (e17/wasspike) met up for an away-game beano last season.
