Yeah. First time I have looked at this and said he had an affair. Hardly worthy of all this news. I remember him from the broom cupboard. Can’t say I knew he was still on TV.

There's a suggestion that he's been grooming a young lad since he was just 12. He's claiming that he didn't shag him until after 00:01 on the lads 18th birthday. And everyone involved at ITV didn't know anything about it. Or about any other possible "incidents". Allegedly.

Do you not consider it possible to think (and comment) about more than one thing at a time? IF we confined ourselves solely to whatever appalling thing had happened each day (and who is to decide which gets priority?) wouldn't the world be a sorry place.

StillSpike, sorry to upset you but I really think stories about talentless, overpaid day time TV "stars" are a bit pointless & shallow!

I'm not upset at all - you're the one "despairing" at the board and the UK in general. I agree those stories are pointless and shallow - wouldn't the world be a dreary depressing place if it didn't have any pointless and shallow things in it?

Confused as to whether friend or faux wants people to focus on people who are abusive or not? Cos I’ve spotted a loop hole in his plan - be famous and then scrutiny of potentially abusive wrongdoing is just salacious gossip that we shouldn’t worry about

I met Willoughby once - a mate was on the mercifully short-lived ITV series Holly & Fearne Go Dating and I was involved in some criminally edited out filming. She was very aloof and smoked like a chimney. In contrast, Fearne Cotton was lovely. I don't really know if that has any bearing on any of the above.

So in other words she's up herself. That surprises me somewhat. It doesn't one little bit with Schofield. And I also never had her down as a smoker. A disappointment all round for me !
