Am I alone in finding the Beebs constant coverage a bit nauseating and totally disproportionate?

There’s even a video of Ryan Reynolds on the parade bus on the main news page and they had live text coverage of this yesterday.

Dont you realise some CELEBRITIES are involved? Some even watched a football match.

Not sure any open top bus parade needs live coverage.

What surprised me, is the coverage showed a fairly unenthusiastic sparse turnout, compared to the coverage the Beeb gave it.

2 famous people took over a historic club that were out of the league for 15 years. They’ve invested in the club and community. The team got promoted after a real battle with Notts County. The story reaches beyond football because of the documentary series.

Yeah, really don’t know why they’re getting press coverage.

I was just thinking that. I saw they had a live feed from the celebrations yesterday! Guess it’s the BBC trying to get down with da yoof and failing as per usual.

Decent Club & Decent fans from a proper Working class area. Good luck to them . C.F's mate from school is involved down there or used to be .

It's annoying, but the presence of two Hollywood actors gives the BBC an angle to report it as a wider interest piece.

Quite tedious, but not as artificial and annoying as media interest bestowed upon Salford City and AFC Wimbledon in previous years.

They seem to be living in lots of people's heads at the moment. Just ignore it if it annoys you, plenty of over stuff going on.

Haven’t seen the documentary but my adult kids love it. Totally get the coverage. Imo great for lower league football. Now the saturation of the Premiershit is another matter!

It's almost as if they think those people are more charismatic than Kent Teague!

I'm glad we don't have a documentary. It doesn't tend to work out well for us.

I'd never even heard of Ryan Reynolds or the other bloke until they became involved with Wrexham. Seems like a decent bloke who has genuinely bought into this for the long haul, but I think we've got the picture now

No you are not. It is lazy journalism and patronising to football fans. The notion that the general public are remotely interested because if the inclusion of B-grade ‘Hollywood’ celebrities is as false as it is disingenuous.
