I keep watching our 2nd goal yesterday against Salford
And if that move was not the most beautiful Orient goal, that I've seen this season, then I don't know what else would be.
I further think that goal , so fluid from the cross field pass by El Miz , which 4 passes later ends up in the Salford net via Moncur, really was the sign of how well Richie Wellens has got this team playing.
Personally, any team that can play that standard of football must surely end up winning the Division 2 title.
I'm sure that I've just seen, with that goal, the actual moment this Orient side won the championship of Div 2...
And that's not taking anything away from Ruel's goal, either. Surely, he must play centre forward from here on ?
And how sweet was that victory for Richie Wellens, after the way he was treated and sacked by Salford, just 2 years ago?
Can't wait to be at Brisbane Road this Monday.
Come on you O's just a few more points and it will all be yours.

Not sure why this notice board changes "Richie Wellens " to willy Wellens.

Wellens said post match that Ruel played well but intimated that he's not a centre forward. Something along the lines of "teams can easily read him after watching him a few games". I think that even for Monday there may be a change as Ruel ran himself into the ground. Whatever it is, in Ritchie we trust.PeterKitchenisMagic wrote: ↑Sat Apr 08, 2023 5:01 pm And that's not taking anything away from Ruel's goal, either. Ruel is a far better player than Drinan, yet he keeps playing him up front.
Never in a million years would Drinan have scored that first goal yesterday. Ruel has far more quality about him

That El Miz pass had artistry about it, perfect weight with those extra couple of bounces to slow it down for the quick pass forward. He makes it look so easy which shows what a class player he is for us.

Drinan wouldn't score a tap in? Ridiculous. He has several times.ComeOnYouOs wrote: ↑Sat Apr 08, 2023 7:16 pm Ruel is a far better player than Drinan, yet he keeps playing him up front.
