Will be Hartlepool are a good side (as we’re Colchester). But we’re unbeaten in 9 games.
The subs didn’t have the desired impact, but we’ll work on that next week!
You can’t blame McCart, I think he was our best option!!

I’d wager he’ll say he’s very disappointed by our performance level today.

Any chance he'll say that Drinan has completely fallen away and here's to him next season?

We fell apart and that will upset him the most, but then he made some poor substitutions again and must carry his share of the blame. We were fortunate to get a point.

It was 17 points ahead of 4th, just a few weeks ago.
The rest are catching us up, and we have to hope the winning post will come in time

He tore into them after the Colchester game, I don't think it's fair to imply he's complacent or excusing recent performances at all. The big concern was that after the Colchester (and to a lesser extent Swindon) games we'd lose the knack of seeing games out, and that's shown up once again. Saturday is gonna be horrible to watch even if we're 2-0 up and coasting with ten to go.

You have quite a high opinion of yourself to think that anyone cares about whether you’re on this message board or not

Don't think you'll need to worry about that scenario tbf.

Bad substitutions and defensive mistakes have been in the last 4 games. He will probably say we lack punch in the final third. We badly miss Theo.

Theo the mascot could probably look more threatening than Ruel did today

Wish Richie would stop banging on about the opposition, seems to praise them more than us.

I prefer Wellens, "the opposition are fighting for their lives" = Draw
to Jacketts, "they did a job on us " = Defeat

I’m confused. He seemed to put a bit of blame of sweeney and taking too many touches for their goal but wasn’t he off the pitch at the time?

Think he misspoke and meant Turns for the goal. Was right about Sweeney getting caught on the ball and Sadlier being too slow as well

Excuses , excuses .We were poo poo and the substitutions were terrible.it’s blatantly obvious to everyone that we should have signed a proven striker instead of to many Centre Backs. Who was ultimately responsible for not signing a proven striker and was it yet again due to penny pinching ?
