Can you tell me your tales of woe with them, as I work myself into a seething rage waiting for them to inevitably not deliver my package for the second time for a spurious reason?

I doubt they are any worse than any other courier to be fair, they're all overworked people doing an unskilled job, being paid not a lot, so mistakes will be made.

The companies aren’t overworked people, the couriers are.

Did you watch the Ken Loach film The World’s Unluckiest Delivery Driver?

They seem to be the worst of a very bad bunch. Countless time's stuff of ours has been delivered to other buildings in our street or expensive items left outside our office entrance without anyone ringing the doorbell.

Huge sympathy for the drivers though - couple of them have explained the sheer amount of drops they have to make daily makes it almost impossible for them to spend any time looking for addresses properly.

Never had any problems with either.

We’ve had three smashed toilets arrive in a week from Tufnells, who seem even worse than Hermes.

I can’t remember which company it was that took a sh*t in the front garden of a one time message boarder

Terrible company and some of their attempts to deliver stuff are absurd but also a lot of sympathy for the drivers and the absolutely mad targets they're given. Used to chat regularly with a guy who covered our block and he needed to see the Dr but couldn't get the time off.

Just arrived only three minutes after the expected time, which ain’t too bad. I was sceptical after Saturday didn’t happen “because we were unable to get within the geofence”, whatever that means

But yes, no quibbles with the drivers

I sent an amp to someone from eBay and they’d dropped it and it was smashed up. Their claims process was so convoluted and required photos I didn’t have I gave up and basically gave the bloke an almost full refund. Wankers

Nice, bit overpriced. My wife has a Vert Fonce Green in alligator skin and a Kelly 32 Toile Rouge.

They changed the name because they were so bad in the hope the majority of people didn't notice. As Hermes, I had numerous emails giving me details of deliveries to other people, they only stopped when they changed the name. What I.T. glitch that was who knows. And I've had bad delivery experiences. When I get an email saying that they are delivering something, I cringe thinking what will go wrong.

They are the worst of a renegade bunch. Its probably why they have re-branded Evri. They are currently trying to deliver (unsuccessfully) me a parcel from Science in Sport that I have not ordered. Not sure who's fault that one is but SIS have no order record of an order from me....

That " crap " is called Down Stream Access. Our competition gets the contracts to process it then they damp it on Royal Mail to deliver it . You can thank the fcuking EU for that with their competition directive bullshit . Even though we're now out of the EU its all now set in stone thanks to our time being members

So no Brexit benefit there then. I'll keep looking for them elsewhere. Cheers

I say I dread to think of a firm headed by TUFFERS. It is bad enough dealing with his over-productive & erratic Boarding.

Has your postie ever put something unwanted through your letter box?

When you place an order online and the confirmation comes through saying it will be delivered by Evri, your heart sinks a little.

A company so bad they had to change their name, quietly, to shake off their horrendous reputation.

And no, I don't blame their workers.
