Question asked in the House today about Notts County
Nottingham MP raises fears that the Club could be wound up. Asked Mrs May about vetting of owners by the Football Authorities and the way the Clubs spend money. Anything sound familiar here?

No one gave a f*** in parliament when the Glazers bought United in 2005 with borrowed money. Why would they give a f*** about Notts County now?

It was raised when we were in trouble as well. The government wont get involved. No one will in fact and thats the issue.

Re: Question asked in the House today about Notts County
There are a good number of MPs who want something done about this including the Media and Sport select commitee. The problem is how and who is going to regulate the system. Football is run by a cartel of commercial organisations for the benefit of those organisations. The customers don't have a say in the matter, lets face it they could play the games in empty stadiums for the TV money alone and save you sitting in the cold with no lid on your Bovril cup.
