That was written by Barry and Paul, not John and Paul.

Barry and Paul who? If you mean the Ryan brothers then Paul wrote 'Eloise' for brother Barry.
Lennon and Macca wrote From Me To You

I recently started listening to Ride's 2019 album, This Is Not A Safe Place. Ride were one of those bands I was sort of into back in the 90s, but never would have featured in my frequently changing top-5 list. I'd been to a couple of their gigs, and owned two of their albums (Nowhere and Going Blank Again).
But this album really grabbed me, and I think it may be their best. I reckon that, had they realised it in their 90s heyday, it could easily be regarded as a bit of a classic.

While on the topic of 90s stalwarts, Jim Bob's (him of carter USM) "Who Do We hate Today" from 2021 is also worth checking out. It also contains one of the best Covid-lockdown-themed songs I've heard so far, in Summer of No Touches.

Went to see Butler, Blake and Grant the other night, so I dug out a Love and Money record out and followed it up with Howdy by Teenage Fanclub. Quality Scottish Pop.

Both great. Doolittle probably more accessible, and an easier listen.
Surfer edges it for me, if only for the inclusion of 'Where is my mind?'
