Has anyone worked out how many points we need to be promoted ( not the estimate the actual figure ) πŸ€”

Remaining number of games for O's
against teams 2nd - 11th is 7

Remainimg games that teams below
us meet each other but not including
playing us is :-

Stevenage 6
Carlisle 6
Cobblers 6
Mansfield 6
Stockport 6
Salford 5
Bradford 5
Sutton 6
Donny 5
Swindon 5

On that basis I'd say 15
Points achieve promotion
As teams below will fall by the wayside
as they take points off of each other ..

Up the O's

86 points has always been enough for promotion. Currently 98 required to be mathematically certain.

We got 30 points from our first 13 league games of the season. So same again would take us nicely to a golden century.
Will we get the crown before Charlie gets his on 5th May?

Dont need to be 98 . 2-11th have loads of fixtures against each other & 7 have to play us . 2-11th cannot all gain maximum points .

Only stating what it is mathematically at this point in time if 3rd 4th 5th win all their games, other than of course the max of one game between each of them.

It would be nice if we could at least get promotion done and dusted before April. That's 5 games, 2 home (Swindon and Colchester), 3 away (Grimsby, Mansfield, currently 5th, and Hartlepool). Like all teams in the top 7 places as of 20 Feb, it is a very busy April schedule with all teams playing 7 games except Stevenage who have 8. Of those 7 games we have, 3 are against teams in the current top 7, Carlisle (H), Salford (A) and Stockport (H).

Still see it as 85 to secure 3rd , all the teams below arent winning every game & we arent dropping points in every game !

That was at a higher level and the two clubs that pipped us to promotion had plenty of money . Unsurprisingly both of those clubs are now in the Premiership

One thing for sure all these points predicting is wrong, the orient are still 1/3 on and Stevenage 7/2 , me personally think we will just be champions but it's going to get close, at the moment we are hanging by our fingertips in each game, but if we get one good result by hammering just one of the opposition, I think we will be good and worthy champions.
