Vigouroux. 6. Nothing much to do. We had nearly 80% possession.
Sweeney. 7. I like him. Everything speeds up when he is on the ball. Amazing leap for a relatively small fella.
Turns 8. What a blasterooney. Lovely range of passing.
Beccles. 6.5. Overshadowed by Turns and slightly ponderous but did nothing wrong.
James. 6.5. Solid if unspectacular.
El Miz. 9.5. MOM. Hahaha. What’s he doing playing at this level. Seriously, it’s a bit silly.
Clay. 6. Did he lose his man for the goal? Looked ponderous vs his illustrious teammates.
Moncor. 7 Some nice touches. We really did play some great football
Sadlier. 8 Same as Monks. We have so many ballers.
Archibald. 6.5. Typical Theo. Doesn’t quite have the skills of some of his more forward thinking teammates but always gives 100%.
Drinnan. 5. Aaron Drinnan and Idris El Mizouni starting in the same team one of the stranger things I have seen at Orient. Couldn’t control it for toffee and zero goal threat.

Subs. 6. No impact. Ruel is lucky to get so much game time.

Wellens.7. Really enjoyable game especially second half where we played some lovely stuff. We are going up. Enjoy the rest of the season.

Walsall. 6. Threatening early on but played off the park by the end. Keeper made a worldie to keep out El Miz shot.

Ref. 7. Let it flow.

Many thanks Mr B. You should apply for work as a scout.

Just a thought for Connor Wilkinson. Just back from a long injury, comes on as a sub and off again - on a stretcher.

Cheers for the ratings.

Said many times El Mizouni is the absolute key to this squad, he’s brilliant. Has not only transformed our midfield, our team, and moreover our fortunes this year. We’ve been crying out for this sort of player for so long, lucky to have him and hope we can keep him

Yep.
Well done Martin Ling for getting him in the building ;)

That really is terrible luck . You've got to feel sorry for the bloke .

I think he's the central midfielder we've been crying out for ever since we lost Adams . I know I've said it before but we must try to sign him up on a permanent contract in the Summer .If we can finish the job and get promoted to league 1 then that should help our chances . Arguably the first name on our team sheet .

Michael Flynn said that his latest injury (Conor Wilkinson) involved the same knee which had kept him out previously and a scan will be arranged this evening to learn the extent of the damage.

We will at least until the end of the season.
Don’t see Ipswich letting him leave.

This is the worst assessment of a centre half pairing I have ever seen. And I read most of your posts.

Beckles dug Turns out time and time again today, as he has done every game they've played together. I don't understand how someone can see things so incorrectly.

Seems to me you don't have a lot of praise for Turns.

I think a lot of people are blinded by the fact he's a Premier league loanee. If I was Thompson or Ogie, especially Ogie, and he was keeping me out of the side with performances like that, I'd be furious.

Great first touch and strike today though, he's obviously got good technique, so made up for giving them the goal I guess.

Bera, off the top of your head can you remember the last time a player got 9.5? Rarely see a score that high.
I wholeheartedly agree btw.

Yes, having a differing opinion to you is obviously a 'shtick'.

(To be fair, I check myself anytime I find myself having the same opinion as you on anyone).

He wont join Orient ,he's only here on work experience or until Ipswich recall him and sell him on for decent money.

Wonder what it is he doesn't like about 'Beccles'?

he didn't give them their goal, he was marking Matt. Lowe was Craig Clay's man, evidenced by the berating Clay got from Beckles after the free header.

Yeah he did give it to them, sorry. He has to come across into the massive hole between him and Beckles that the goalscorer runs into. Sweeney is behind him to pick up the man he was originally marking.

Spoke to an Ipswich supporting mate last night, wasn’t overly fussed about him and thinks they’d let him go easily. That’s definitely not a big indication one way or another but just thought it was interesting that in his eyes, they don’t rate him that highly
