I've been told he's as good as gone in January mate. 2 clubs in for him already. I've known this since Salford and without actually being employed by the club, my source could not be closer to the action.

Personally I hope its sh*t, but the source don't generally talk crap. I would not want to post this sort of stuff up in case it came true. Personally even with 6 months left, an offer of £300k would not cut it for me. He's worth that to guarantee promotion IMO - although I strongly suspect the club will be making moved to cover any potential loss in the January market before it happens

WE COULD IF WE HADN'T HANDED OVER TO HULL THE £300K WE GOT FROM SELLING HECTOR FFS.

Should anything of this nature - for any player - come true then we do not have the previous luxury of the loan window staying open. I'm sure I saw somewhere that the loan window closes at the same time as the transfer window from now on.

But we can sign free agents!

Nothing to do with hindsight or how Moncur has turned out, it should be our policy. It's like someone suddenly had £300k thrown at them by Peterboro and didn't know what to do with it.
